Anyway, tuesday morning I was RUN OVER by a bicycle... I had to cross the bike lane to get to the door of the building I had my class in that morning. I guess I didn't check well enough before crossing, either that or she was going at a break-neck speed and came up behind me after I'd checked. So I found myself on the ground with a bicycle on my back, and it's rider to my side. Luckily the rider didn't split her skull open as she wasn't wearing a helmet. So, she yelled at me for being in the bike lane while I apologized profusely and tried to check on her. As she biked off, the pain shooting through my left arm (my DRAWING ARM) finally reached my brain. Luckily, after a few x-rays, it turned out that my arm was not broken, my elbow was just sprained. Let me tell you, a sprained elbow hurts more than any time I reset my dislocated shoulder or my recovery after shoulder and back surgury. ~.~ So yeah, the tora-chan has not been a happy critter this week. And then my art teacher yelled at me for trying to draw on an 8.5-by-11 sheet of paper today. Soooory, I can't move my elbow, at least the swelling has gone down enough now so that I can move my wrist a little and use my fingers again.... *pouts* She loved the picture I did with my right hand, as my lines were "so expressive" yeah, expressive in the sense that they expressed my frustration with the fact that my right hand doesn't move the way I want it to.... grrr

Mo-mo-moved! See you at ~Squashbee!
Still, good thing, you can start practicing with your right hand. My mom says artist should try to be ambidextrous. Helps with the artistic flow between both sides of the brain. (Though, people who are left handed are more artistic (supposedly) than those who are right handed, but Ambi people can be just... wow with their art.)
So just be careful and don't over work your arm. It's probably going to be a big pain this winter. Might wanna get tiger balm to help with the swelling. There are patches now that might be better than rubbing the stuff into your arm. Should be easier for ya. Anyways, rest up and good luck with classes (At lest this happened after mid-terms, ne?)
